who we are

Debar Ceramics (Pty) Ltd is a newly established player in the non-ferrous wear-resistant materials market, more specifically in the sale, installation and maintenance in this sector.

Our story

The company was established in 2013 as a Broad-Based Black Owned Enterprise Development Initiative under the directorship of Letsosa Matona and is in the premium incubation program of the Shanduka Black Umbrellas Business Development Hub in Lephalale, where the company is based. Debar is a Black Woman Owned company.

Debar Ceramics' experience in the industry is backed by Letsosa's 10 years' experience in the wear resistant industry and its 16 men installation team who has a combined 9 years' experience in the same industry.

The owners of the company have identified a need for a black owned company within the wear resistant industry, especially in the area of Lephalale and nationwide, as the five major role players are majority white owned and positioned in the Gauteng area.
